Welcome to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Mobile Communications

An independent group of MPs and Lords, from all political parties, 'APMobile' was established in 2001 to encourage debate on a range of mobile issues, bringing together relevant stakeholders including consumers, industry, Parliamentarians and pressure groups.

This website provides an information channel on issues discussed by APMobile and offers links to studies, organisations and other relevant material.

APMobile cannot itself become involved in individual cases and the planning process at a local level - but is concerned with planning policy nationally.  In 2004 the Group held a 'Select Committee-style' inquiry into the issue of siting of mobile phone masts - 'The Planning Report'.
